I built a marketing company for one reason: to put contractors first.
I'm Joshua Diaz, founder of Contractors Guild. I came up in the trades as an electrician before I started this company — because I kept watching genuinely good contractors, crews that do excellent work, lose jobs to competitors with better marketing. Great work should be seen, and contractors deserve a marketing partner that's all in on their trade.
One job: get contractors more work.
I spent years on the tools as an electrician — long days, physical work, managing jobs and customers and crews. It's the same problem every contractor I worked alongside was trying to solve: how do I keep the work coming in?
Most contractors I talk to are excellent at the work. They can wire a panel, plumb a stack, pour a driveway, frame a house, and do it better than anyone in their area. But when it comes to showing up online — looking like the established company they actually are, and turning the people searching for them into booked jobs — they're on their own, or worse, handed off to a generic agency that doesn't know their trade.
I saw the same gap everywhere I looked: skilled, honest contractors losing jobs to competitors with better marketing. And I watched the agencies they hired treat a plumber like a dentist, like a lawyer, like any other line on a spreadsheet.
I built Contractors Guild to be the partner those contractors actually need — one that came out of the trades, only works in the trades, studies how each one gets hired, and cares whether the work shows up. Not a package and a wave goodbye.

Help contractors build stronger businesses through effective marketing, professional branding, and a better online presence.
Good contractors deserve to be seen. Great work should be backed by great marketing.
Great work should be backed by great marketing — not buried where no one finds it.
Not another agency that doesn't know a subcontractor from a GC.
Most marketing shops sell the same playbook to dentists, lawyers, and contractors. We don't. We only work with construction and home-service businesses — it's the one world we focus on and the one we actually understand.

One trade, one focus
We measure success in booked jobs
We build for your trade, not a template
We say no when you should save your money
Good contractors deserve to be seen.
If you've been burned by a marketing agency that didn't understand your business, let's talk. You'll talk to someone who knows your trade, not a sales rep reading a script.
A former electrician started this. We came out of the trades to help contractors build something bigger — not to sell marketing to businesses we don't understand.
21 trades served. One crew behind every account.
