What Contractors Guild collects, why we collect it, and what we do with it. Written in plain language, not legalese — but it's still the real policy, and it still applies.

Your information, our hands.
We only work with contractors and home-service businesses, and we only collect what we need to do right by you. If anything in here doesn't sit right, bring it to the call — we'd rather talk it through than have you wonder.
Ask us a question1. About this policy
We're Contractors Guild, a marketing company based in Phoenix, Arizona, working exclusively with construction contractors and home-service businesses. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it.
We wrote it in plain language because that's how we run our business — but it's still the real policy. If anything here doesn't make sense, ask us before you share anything with us.
2. What we collect
When you fill out our contact form or request a free audit, we collect: your name, your business name, your email, your phone number, your trade, and any details you put in your message. For an audit, that also includes your website URL.
We collect this to respond to your inquiry and — if we end up working together — to do the work. We only ask for what we actually need.
If you become a client, we may also need access to your business accounts, brand assets, and materials: logins, photos of completed work, service-area details, and the like. You provide those directly, and only as the work requires.
3. How we use it
We use your information to reply to your inquiry, set up a call, prepare a proposal or audit, and — if you hire us — to deliver the services we agreed to.
We may use your email to follow up and send updates about your project. We don't use your information for anything unrelated to the reason you gave it to us.
4. We don't sell your information
We don't sell, rent, or trade your information. Ever. We're a small business that works with contractors — your trust is the whole business, and we're not about to put a price tag on it.
5. Who we share it with
We don't share your information with anyone except as needed to do the work or where we're legally required to.
If you become a client, we may run ads on your behalf through platforms like Google and Meta. Those platforms may receive the data necessary to run your campaigns, under their own terms and policies. We never hand your customer lists or proprietary information to a third party to sell to.
6. Cookies and analytics
Our website uses minimal cookies and basic analytics to understand how the site is used and to keep improving it. We don't follow you around the internet. You can disable cookies in your browser and the site still works fine.
7. How long we keep it
We keep inquiry information long enough to respond and to follow up if you're still deciding. If we don't hear from you and you don't become a client, we'll eventually delete it.
If you're a client, we keep records for the life of our working relationship and a reasonable period after, then we delete or return what's yours.
8. Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us and we'll take care of it — no runaround.
If you're in a region with specific privacy rights (like California, or the EU and UK under GDPR), those rights apply to you and we'll honor them.
9. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information and limit access to the people who need it. We use established platforms to store and send data.
We're not going to tell you any system is bulletproof — none is. But we take it seriously, and if something ever goes wrong, we'll tell you straight.
10. Third-party links
Our site links to third-party sites — Google, Meta, our social pages, and others. Once you leave our site, their privacy practices apply, not ours. We can't control what they do with your information, and this policy doesn't cover it.
11. Children
Our services are for businesses, not kids. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If we ever learn we have, we'll delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll date the change at the bottom of the page. If anything material shifts, we'll tell current clients about it.
13. Questions about your privacy
If you want to see what we have, fix something, or have it deleted, just say so. Email joshuadiaz@contractorguilds.com and we'll handle it — no fine print hiding behind more fine print.
Good contractors deserve to be seen.
This is the policy. The work starts with a 20- to 60-minute call about your crew, your service area, and where you want more jobs.
A former electrician started this. We came out of the trades to help contractors build something bigger — not to sell marketing to businesses we don't understand.
21 trades served. One crew behind every account.
